She is self-taught and began painting in 1974. She is proficient in various mediums including watercolor, oil, pastel, acrylic, monotype, encaustic and Digital Imaging. Her work hangs in private collections in the US and abroad. Many of her traditional paintings are painted from memory. She feels a strong kinship with nature and her primary goal is to create mood and feeling in her work.
